Mr. Saleem Malik named Lester Middle School Assistant Principal

OKINAWA, JAPAN – Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Pacific South District Superintendent Dr. Melissa Hayes is pleased to announce the selection of Mr. Saleem Malik as assistant principal of Lester Middle School.

Mr. Malik brings more than 20 years of experience in education to Lester Middle, having served in various roles at Kadena High School, Kadena Middle School, Lester Middle School, Ryukyu Middle School, Yokota Middle School, and – most recently – Kubasaki High School.

“I am passionate about fostering a supportive and undivided environment where every student can thrive,” Mr. Malik said. “I look forward to collaborating with the dedicated staff, students, and families at Lester Middle School to continue building a vibrant and successful educational experience for all.”

Mr. Malik holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Education from University of Maryland UC, and a master’s degree in Public Administration and Public Management from Troy University.
